Hi, it's been a long winter, and I really haven't painted seriously all winter. So I must begin again. It's hard to get started and i feel a bit rusty , I have painted a couple of things through the winter, but nothing I really liked to show anybody;nothing to make me excited to paint.
So this is my practice painting, just to get me going.

Pastel Workshop with Ken Keith .
This is the painting all 14 of us worked on nov.12 at the maple side Friends church. The O'Brien county art club meets there every month.It was really fun to learn a new technique in a new medium.I think all particapating had a great time.We squiggled this whole painting on dark blue paper so when the paper shows through it's like a shadow.
Here's just a farther away shot .The farther away you get the more detailed and realistic it looks.I think I need to get some darker paper , though Ken uses matboard alot for his paintings.
