summer reading

I don't usually do a ton of reading in the summer, but this year I'm without a job and taking advantage of that by doing some traveling. While learning some patience at airports I have found unexpectant reading time.
Lazy Summer evening
Here's what I'm working on.
Just for Fun:  The Hunger Games
I know , I know it's fad reading! but still has meat to think about. It is especially nice when you want get away from the fact that this is your third hour in the airport.
My favorite so far is the first book. It has the best story line in my opinion.

Front Cover
My Faith :   Open Heart Open Home . by Karen Burton Mains
My sister picked this one up at our Church Library . I thought "oh just another book about hospitality"
,But this book was so encouraging and exciting! anyone can be hospitable it's about loving other people not
worrying about how your house looks.

Lord teach me to Pray . by  Kay Arthur
Our church is doing this Bible study through June ,and even though I have yet to make it to the Study I have been doing the weekly homework for my devotions.
Kay goes through the Lord's prayer as a reference and a guide for how we should pray.
I'm learning so much!

Educational and Thought provoking:
Do Something that Matters
by Blake Mycoskie
Start Something That Matters
I bought this book for my Mom because she loves these kind of books.
She is an Entrepreneur at heart.
So far the book is pretty fascinating .
I would love to Start something that matters .
I think all of us would. Nobody wants to work pointlessly .

So hopefully you have time this summer to read. What's in your pile ?
